Actively recruit and grow relationships with banks, credit unions, builders and savings & loan organizations to develop new wholesale business.
Identify and engage new sales opportunities through research, networking, and outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn).
Build strong relationships with target organizations to promote Equity’s services and drive mortgage loan referrals.
Meet with prospects to showcase Equity’s value and use a consultative approach to align their needs with our services.
Meet or exceed monthly performance metrics, including closed deals, qualified leads, new contacts, and maintain a consistent cadence of calls, contacts, and meetings.
Generate and support leads through outbound activity and inbound efforts (e.g., webinars or creating content).
Build and manage client relationships throughout the sales lifecycle, including onboarding and strategic growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and partnerships are maintained and growing once onboarded.
Represent Equity in the local community through active involvement and promotion of our products and services.
Support the Company’s strong relationship of “raving fan service” culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.
Adhere to all Federal and State regulations, as well as the code of ethics outlined by Equity Resources, Inc.
Participate in company meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field—or equivalent experience.
4-5 years of working knowledge in aspects of mortgage lending sales (e.g., Loan Officer, Credit Union Manager, Account or Members Services Rep).
Familiarity with Credit Union or Community Banking environments.
Proven track record of sales success and resilience.
Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Encompass preferred.
Self-starter with problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
