About the role

  • Primary customer/merchant point of contact for the ProDriven Global Brands Strategic Retail business. Identifying and developing areas of sales growth and profit enhancement. Develop goals and action plans with Director of Sales and customer to achieve market-share and profitability. Implement marketing plans and programs at customers’ corporate level and key buying groups nationwide. Target key buying groups, identify opportunities, develop relationships and customer-centric plans. Lead marketing, promotional and sales efforts at trade shows and events. Develop market intelligence to capitalize on business opportunities and minimize competitive effects. Lead and collaborate in preparation of customer presentations including annual strategic business and marketing plans. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Provide training on products, selling functions, and administration to Customers, Manufacturers Rep Agencies, and internal personnel. Conduct periodic meetings and audits to determine effectiveness of competitive efforts and degree of achievement of business performance objectives. Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization. As a bench-building role, handle additional special projects to support and grow the hardware/strategic retail channel as capacity allows. Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a minimum of 3 days/week in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline preferred or equivalent work experience. 4-6 years of business experience with increasing responsibilities in planning, marketing, and sales in the hardware, home center and/or retail channels Demonstrated experience and execution in achievement of market share growth and profitability improvement for a $20M+ divisional business unit. Solid commercial business knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills Strong communication skills - verbal and written Strong negotiation skills Listening skills Able to work as part of a team and independently Problem analysis and problem-solving Attention to detail and accuracy Adaptability and Multi-tasking ability Initiative (self-starter) Ability to lift 30lbs. Ability to travel 30% - 40% of the time related to account development requirements.
