About the role

  • bina: a global, online primary school reimagining education with micro-classrooms and immersive biome-themed units.
  • Role: People Ops Manager to own and scale people systems with empathy, rigour, and efficiency.
  • Strategic People Operations – build and scale hiring systems, manage remote onboarding and offboarding, oversee contracts, compliance, and transitions.
  • Data & Reporting – develop dashboards to track hiring, leave cover, and staffing; analyse people data to guide decisions and improve HR reporting.
  • Talent & Growth – support creation of performance management frameworks, career pathways, and professional development opportunities.
  • Culture & Experience – lead rituals, celebrations, employee experience design; act as a trusted partner for conflict resolution in remote teams and wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years’ experience in HR, People Ops, or team operations (ideally in fast-growing or remote-first organisations).
  • Have designed scalable HR systems (e.g. hiring, onboarding, or performance).
  • Are confident with HR data and dashboards, and comfortable using AI and automation in HR to streamline workflows.
  • Communicate with clarity and warmth across cultures and time zones.
  • Are organised, responsive, and calm under pressure.
  • Bonus: bring experience in education or EdTech and international compliance HR.
  • Above all, you’re empathetic, open-minded, and a joy to work with.
