About the role
- Rotate between Commercial (year 1) and Procurement (year 2) teams in a two-year trainee program
- Get hands-on experience and learn about different parts of the Commercial & Procurement department
- Track and report customer sampling performance, define KPIs and perform analytical deep dives
- Work on customer segmentation and support implementation with the SCM team
- Contribute to and assist pipeline reviews and organize regional processes, supporting stakeholders with data analysis and insights
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Reinvent Supplier Performance Evaluation by creating a sustainable, scalable approach to supplier performance
- Handle supplier complaints, qualitative and quantitative issues, and track/monitor critical issues
- Work externally with suppliers and internally with Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, Quality and other Procurement teams
Requirements
- A recent bachelor's degree in in materials science, or chemical engineering related field
- No prior work experience required
- A strong passion for Commercial & Procurement and eagerness to learn
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive mindset and adaptability
- Fluency in English
