About the role
- Generate new business and expand existing customer relationships for fire alarm installation projects across southern New Jersey
- Conduct site visits, review construction documents, and develop accurate estimates and proposals based on NFPA and local code requirements
- Drive estimates, proposals, and customer negotiations for fire alarm installation projects
- Partner with general contractors, building owners, and property managers to define project scope and requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and field technicians to ensure a seamless handoff from sale to execution
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to regional growth
- Manage the full sales cycle on complex, technical projects and ensure successful project handoff and execution
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in fire alarm, life safety, or related construction/project sales is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, NFPA codes, and installation requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, on complex, technical projects
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both customers and internal teams
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with CRM/estimating tools (Hubspot, ServiceTrade, or similar) a plus
- Willingness to dive in and learn company tools quickly
- This is not an entry-level sales role; industry credibility and proven track record required
- Ability to conduct site visits and work across southern New Jersey
