About the role

  • Build and maintain relationships with consultants, brokers and carrier distribution representatives on a local, regional and national level in your designated territory.\n
  • A subject matter expert, you provide channel education, enablement and field support, surfacing insights to improve product positioning and partner relevance.\n
  • Establish and maintain structured engagement cadence with top priority partners and firms\n
  • Drive sales growth by making trusted partner introductions that lead to qualified pipeline\n
  • Activate consultants and carrier teams to help Empathy earn finalist positioning and sales influence\n
  • Exercise your expertise to support sales team with partner warm-ups, joint calls, and proposal strategy\n
  • Build and manage territory-level account mapping across partner ecosystems\n
  • Ensure all partner interactions and opportunity influence are tracked in Salesforce within the SLA\n
  • Monitor and report on partner health, referral activity, and growth trends\n
  • Nurture and progress deals by working with Sales Executives and Marketing on activations and campaign strategies

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a Brokerage Firm or Consulting house working with Employee Benefits in an account management capacity or producing capacity.\n
  • Experience in Health Tech is a plus.\n
  • Experience working with brokers, consultants, and life insurance carrier reps\n
  • Strong understanding of channel influence, referral models, and the indirect sales cycle\n
  • Proven track record of building relationships that convert to real opportunity\n
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and benefit enrollment platforms like BenefitFlow\n
  • Holds an active Life and Health license in at least one state\n
  • Strong communicator, operator, and executor with a bias for action\n
  • Deep belief in Empathy’s mission and care-driven model\n
