About the role
- Detailed analysis of the technical specifications of the customer orders
- Interaction with Inside Sales, PMO and Application Engineering to clarify scope of supply
- Creating wiring, schematic and general arrangement drawings per project specifications
- Create Material Master and Bill of Materials in SAP
- Work on Design Change requests (ECO/ECN)
- Participate in Design Review Meetings and ideation events to develop solutions
- Ensure high quality of deliverables and meet on-time delivery commitments
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet project objectives
- Prepare technical documentation, presentations and reports
- Perform engineering calculations to verify designs
- Create manufacturing drawings, GA drawings, schematics, wiring drawings and BOMs
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of Experience in Engineer to Order (ETO) Execution or industrial Product Design and Sustaining activities
- Education: BE/B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience in Valve Automation Package design (preferred)
- Good knowledge of Pneumatic / Hydraulic Fluid flow systems
- Proficient in 3D Modelling, Assembly, Tubing and 2D drafting standards in Creo
- Experience in AutoCAD, SAP, Windchill, Enovia
- Hands-on experience on Engineering Calculations to verify the design
- Experience in Creating manufacturing drawings, General Arrangement Drawing, Schematic, Wiring Drawings and Bill of Materials
- Good Understanding of GD&T, Tolerance stack-up, DFMA
- Good understanding of Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision
- Experience of working in global engineering environment with effective communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player
- Willingness to learn and explore new technology
- Ability to analyse technical specifications and interact with cross-functional teams
