About the role
- To develop functional and design specifications for our control systems (hardware and software) under supervision of the Lead Engineer and in collaboration with customer.
- To perform design studies and quality documents for projects according to the project specifications and in line with the applicable procedures and quality plans.
- The configuration of software applications for the Emerson Controls System DeltaV.
- To perform internal tests and customer acceptance tests in-house and at customer site.
- Provide commissioning, start-up support, after sales service and training for our clients.
- Development of the required technical project documentation.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’ Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Process Automation Engineering.
- 3+ years in a control engineering project environment.
- Previous experience of working in the Process Automation environment and technical skills in control system engineering.
- Fluent in German with strong DeltaV skills.
- Configuration of software applications for the Emerson Controls System DeltaV.
- Knowledge of control system design, control systems HW cabinet design and assembly, software system design, software implementation, software testing.
- Good interpersonal skills having the ability to work effectively with various internal and external collaborators.
- Willingness to travel to other world areas for training or business trips.
- Proficiency in English and German.
- A valid car driving license.
- Preferred: any other European language is an advantage.
- Preferred: previous experience in a matrix organization.
