About the role
- Develop an MVP feature from problem statement to delivery and own CAD automation workflows end-to-end (e.g., Onshape/FeatureScript).
- Work with the software team to prototype and test features for the CAD-to-fabrication pipeline.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to solve real-world engineering problems.
- Learn and apply design for manufacturing and automation (DFMA) concepts.
- Actively learn from teammates, ask questions, and bring curiosity to new challenges.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Some experience with programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- CAD scripting experience such as FeatureScript or familiarity with Onshape is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Curious and motivated to learn new technologies, approaches, and tools.
- Eager to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including CAD programmers, roboticists, architects, and engineers.
