Mechanical Engineer

• Create detailed 3D CAD models using world-class mechanical parametric CAD systems.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to convert design concepts into high-fidelity 3D CAD models.
• Organize and maintain 3D models, files and documentation, including revisions.
• Review 3D models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards and regulations.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with compliance to building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with manufacturing, operation, architects, project managers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Junior Mechanical Engineer

Engineer

• Identify factory projects centered around throughput and labor time improvements, and execute them in our Reframe microfactories
• Work with vendors, integrators, and contractors to deliver large-scale projects in the factory
• Identify and perform technical factory studies, and document results to inform future projects and company initiatives
• Construct roadmaps for achieving target factory metrics through factory improvements
• Develop factory and work cell layouts based on technical analysis and data-driven insights
• Work together with automation and software engineers to deliver software-integrated workcells, including dashboards, MES capabilities, and sensors
• Build quantitative models of expected work cell and factory performance using first principles
• Benchmark our factory equipment and factory processes against general industry practices and similar tech-motivated construction companies
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical, design, and operational groups on initiatives around future housing project designs and requirements

Manufacturing Engineer

Full-stack Engineer

• Design and deploy special projects that augment operators using projection, inkjet, and digital interfaces to drive intent on the factory floor.
• Integrate advanced sensing systems, including vision for quality inspection, UWB for localization, and real-time feedback loops.
• Build electromechanical subsystems—fixtures, robotic tools, material-handling devices—that connect seamlessly with software-first interfaces.
• Develop and prototype AI- and data-driven solutions to optimize throughput, reduce errors, and simplify decision-making.
• Lead scrappy prototyping and iterative testing, rapidly moving from concept to production-ready systems.
• Collaborate with software, manufacturing, and mechanical teams to deliver solutions that combine code, sensors, and machines into cohesive workflows.
• Document technical learnings and establish reusable patterns for software-driven augmentation across future factories.

Senior Technical Lead, Special Projects – Automation & Augmentation

Robotics

• Contribute to design, development, and maintenance of software for robotic manipulation workcells.
• Work alongside senior engineers in planning, execution, and analysis of development projects.
• Collaborate in design of robotic software components for automated micro-factories.
• Implement and support vision-based algorithms, motion planning, physics-based simulation, and parametric workflows.
• Explore and support capabilities in production and development environments.
• Assist validating hypotheses through data-driven experimentation and document findings.
• Present results to the team and help take ideas from proof-of-concept to operational stages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of roboticists, architects, and engineers to design, prototype, and test manipulation and mobility solutions.

Software Engineer Intern, Full-Stack Robotics

• Contribute to the design, procurement, construction, and implementation of factory projects in the Andover microfactory. Work alongside senior engineers in working on large factory improvement projects, and gain exposure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate in the design of factory documentation, factory layouts, and factory concepts, and also collaborate in research on novel construction processes and automated work cell concepts
• Assist in creating and driving data-driven experiments. Document and summarize findings, presenting them to the team for collaborative discussion. Create new models for calculating factory performance in both individual areas and across the whole area.

Manufacturing Engineer Intern – Microfactory

• Develop an MVP feature from problem statement to delivery and own CAD automation workflows end-to-end (e.g., Onshape/FeatureScript).
• Work with the software team to prototype and test features for the CAD-to-fabrication pipeline.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to solve real-world engineering problems.
• Learn and apply design for manufacturing and automation (DFMA) concepts.
• Actively learn from teammates, ask questions, and bring curiosity to new challenges.
