About the role
- Provide first level support for Manufacturing System issues (PC hardware and software)
- Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems for production
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and software applications to minimize downtime and optimize performance
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from manufacturing software to identify process improvements
- Support implementation of automation, software integration, and digital transformation projects, including MES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and recommend software-based solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and data integrity standards and maintain records of software configurations and updates
- Support production line daily PC and software sustaining activities
Requirements
- Diploma in Electronic & Electronic Engineering, Diploma in Software engineering or equivalent
- Preferably 1 to 2 years of proven experience (candidates without work experience encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and relevant software (e.g., MES, ERP)
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis software; familiarity with SQL, Excel, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; hardware and software troubleshooting aptitude
- Knowledge of automation and digital transformation tools or experience with programming/scripting is a plus
- Preferred: Experience or interest in Power BI, SQL Query, C# programming, Power Automate, or Power App
