Lead and supervise overall product quality of assigned product lines to ensure compliance and prevent customer issues
Manage quality across Engineering, Assembly/Test, Inspection, and QA documentation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer quality metrics (e.g., PPM, response time) and internal metrics (e.g., FPY, scrap, rework)
Conduct detailed analysis of customer returns and internal quality data to identify trends and opportunities
Investigate customer complaints and internal manufacturing issues; perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA
Apply tools such as Process Mapping, FMEA, and Control Plans to monitor processes and verify compliance
Develop and implement manufacturing process improvements to improve efficiency and reliability
Plan, promote, and organize training programs to ensure personnel competency
Drive special assignments and strategic projects, collaborating with multi-functional teams to achieve measurable results
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical preferred)
2 years of experience in Product Quality functions, including handling customer returns, Assembly & testing, Machining and process monitoring within the Valve manufacturing industry
Familiarity with ASME codes (Sections I, II, V, VIII, and IX)
Familiarity with PED (European Pressure Equipment Directive)
Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Proficient in ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems and audit processes
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
Skilled in problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 5 Whys, Six-Step Method, and DMAIC
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
