About the role
- Self-motivated service engineer providing service, repairs, overhauling and commissioning of Marine solutions
- Perform onboard service and onsite commissioning within the region and worldwide
- Participate in testing, calibration and verification of system setup of Emerson products
- Ensure service reports are completed and signed prior to submission
- Provide comprehensive remote support to customers
- Set up, install, configure and maintain simulation/demo tools or systems in the workshop
- Carry out on-the-job training and maintain condition and certification of tools
- Report administratively to Sales Manager Marine - India and functionally to Service Leader – Dubai
- Based in Emerson Mumbai campus; responsible for India, Middle East & Africa; travel up to 80%
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Preferred: Electrical/Electronic, Marine or Instrumentation
- Marine automation experience as service engineer
- Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive tasks
- Strong technical capabilities and collaborative team player
- Willingness to travel up to 80% across the Indian Sub-Continent, Middle East & Africa
- Recognize and accept HSE roles & responsibilities
