Direct scientific engagement with pharmaceutical company scientists, clients and decision makers to provide high level scientific input in study design and model execution for CrownBio’s preclinical oncology/inflammation services
Support Business Development to secure orders and deepen account penetration through meetings and information exchange; generate protocols, study designs and proposals to define projects and pricing
Co-travel with BD (~50% of the time) to clients and potential clients, including travel to the Boston area, to support scientific discussion of services and capabilities
Represent CrownBio at relevant scientific and industry conferences; prepare oral presentations and/or poster presentations
Work closely with internal R&D to gain insight of new developments and contribute to R&D strategy
Support the continued development of company-based scientific marketing collateral and web materials
Engage across the full spectrum of oncology/inflammation preclinical discovery, including diverse models and technologies
Requirements
Minimum 10 years’ experience in laboratory or pharmaceutical industry in areas specifically relevant to Company services
Must include a minimum of 3 years’ working within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
Broad experience and hands-on drug development expertise including study/project design, monitoring, issue management and overall consultancy
Desired experience in biomarker discovery/development
Subject Matter Expert: Master’s degree with 15 years of experience in the required field is a prerequisite
Solid publications and/or achievement track record evidencing depth of knowledge
Good and direct understanding of the local biotech industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a matrixed team
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Ambitious, driven, passionate and self-motivated team player
Very strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Fluent command of Chinese and English
Willingness and ability to co-travel with Business Development (~50% travel, including to Boston area)
