About the role

Spearhead operational process streamlining enrollments and payments of Thatch members to national insurance carriers where automation is not available
Build out and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the internal Operations team
Manage a queue of enrollment and payment tasks from Thatch to insurance carriers
Assist with manual enrollments and interact with insurance carriers, vendors, and customers
Engage with Engineering and Operations to build internal and external tools to improve operational efficiency
Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Advising to create customer solutions
Balance projects to develop the operations function while addressing ongoing customer needs
Work with vendors and carriers to develop new operational models as automation is introduced
Learn quickly and adapt to new processes as workflows are refined

A Bachelor’s degree and some on-the-job experience (may include internships)
Experience thriving in a high-paced environment
A strong growth mindset and desire to learn and improve
Well-developed organizational and writing skills
Ability to think critically and solve complex problems with limited oversight
Track record of success and recognition in your professional or academic career (preferred)
Experience in the health insurance or benefits space (preferred)
Diverse job experience; broad range of skills and adaptability (preferred)
