About the role

  • Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, distributors, and partners
  • Serve as the technical expert during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings
  • Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their business needs
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to address technical questions and deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations
  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote company products
  • Know the latest industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ Proven years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in manufacturing, software, or electronics
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mentality (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities (preferred)
  • Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches (preferred)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided
