About the role

  • Remote position; 6-month (C2H) contract-to-hire opportunity.
  • Provide support to HR with sourcing candidates, updating employee records, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Candidate sourcing and outreach: identify and source candidates via job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and internal databases; post job ads; reach out to passive candidates.
  • Resume screening: review applications and shortlist candidates based on qualifications.
  • Interview scheduling and coordination: coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers; send invitations and prep information.
  • Candidate communication: act as point of contact for candidates, provide updates and feedback, and respond to inquiries.
  • Interview support: prepare interview materials, observe interviews, take notes, and contribute to assessments.
  • Applicant tracking and database management: maintain and update ATS records accurately.
  • Onboarding assistance: prepare materials, assist with documentation, and coordinate with new hires.
  • Market research and job descriptions: research industry trends and salary benchmarks; assist drafting job descriptions.
  • Reporting and recruitment metrics: track application volume, time-to-hire, interview-to-offer ratio, and generate recruitment reports.

Requirements

  • A degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in HR and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media and job boards (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.) for recruitment.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Preferred Skills (Optional): Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing tools is a bonus.
  • Preferred Skills (Optional): Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
