About the role
- Remote position; 6-month (C2H) contract-to-hire opportunity.
- Provide support to HR with sourcing candidates, updating employee records, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Candidate sourcing and outreach: identify and source candidates via job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and internal databases; post job ads; reach out to passive candidates.
- Resume screening: review applications and shortlist candidates based on qualifications.
- Interview scheduling and coordination: coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers; send invitations and prep information.
- Candidate communication: act as point of contact for candidates, provide updates and feedback, and respond to inquiries.
- Interview support: prepare interview materials, observe interviews, take notes, and contribute to assessments.
- Applicant tracking and database management: maintain and update ATS records accurately.
- Onboarding assistance: prepare materials, assist with documentation, and coordinate with new hires.
- Market research and job descriptions: research industry trends and salary benchmarks; assist drafting job descriptions.
- Reporting and recruitment metrics: track application volume, time-to-hire, interview-to-offer ratio, and generate recruitment reports.
Requirements
- A degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in HR and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media and job boards (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.) for recruitment.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Preferred Skills (Optional): Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing tools is a bonus.
- Preferred Skills (Optional): Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
