Serve as the primary point of contact for associates and management for associate relations issues including investigations, agency charges (EEO, DOL), employment litigation, associate complaints, performance management, coaching, development, attendance, and other issues.
Provide advice, guidance, coaching, and training to associates and managers based on policies and legal consultation in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
Conduct investigations including managing witness lists, determining line of questioning, analyzing credibility, researching related records as needed and maintaining written record of the investigation.
Debrief leaders at all levels and HRBPs on findings and provide oversight of internal investigations.
Serve as liaison to Legal and regularly partner with Ethics and Compliance on crossover investigations.
Partner with AR leadership and HRBP for requests for transition agreements related to separation/termination.
Develop and provide periodic associate relations-related analytical data and analyze trends to determine appropriate action plans.
Regularly use persuasive and advanced communication skills to communicate with all levels of associates throughout the organization.
Requirements
Requires a BA/BS degree and minimum of 5 years of human resources experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
HR designation strongly preferred (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).
Prior experience with Associate Relations and investigations strongly preferred.
Experience managing investigations, agency charges (EEO, DOL), and employment litigation.
Workday or similar HCM experience preferred.
ServiceNow experience preferred.
Fortune/large company experience preferred.
Ability to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week and within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) (unless accommodation is granted).
