Take a strategic, structured, and proactive approach to grow Duolingo’s business through product and consumer partnerships
Work closely with Product/Engineering to influence product integrations with OEMs, payment providers, AI players and others
Source, conceptualize, negotiate and implement partnerships with measurable impact on user growth, subscription revenue, and brand awareness
Build compelling, quantifiable business cases for strategic partnership opportunities
Collaborate with Marketing teams to amplify partnership launches through buzzworthy activations
Drive partnership deals from sourcing through negotiation to tracking results and scaling successful pilots
Requirements
5+ years of business development experience in digital consumer tech (B2C)
2+ years of management consulting or investment banking experience
Experience building product partnerships with AI, Payments, or Mobile players
Experience conceiving, developing, and implementing partnerships across full lifecycle (sourcing, business cases, negotiating, implementation, tracking)
Critical thinking and structured thought process with ability to build data-driven narratives
Track record of driving impact by building external relationships and collaborating cross-functionally
Test-and-scale mindset
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
(Optional/Exceptional) Experience with mobile apps and subscription services
(Optional/Exceptional) MBA from reputable university
(Optional/Exceptional) Proficiency in a 3rd language
