Drive sales results of the client’s products in the assigned territory
Serve as the link between training and sales; work closely with partners and management on behalf of the client
Deliver formal classroom-style training, side-by-side selling, and informal group training to educate and excite partners
Evaluate opportunities and challenges and provide creative solutions to increase sales
Generate positive sales numbers, build relationships, produce timely reporting, and contribute to program success
Work directly with partner representatives, owners, and senior management to increase sales
Use direct training, observation, side-by-side selling, and customer interactions to demonstrate sales techniques and promotions
Educate management on selling techniques through informal and formal training
Create and implement motivational contests, goals, challenges, and incentives to improve sales
Provide analysis of visits and sales, make suggestions, and present methods to increase sales
Regularly visit offices, support reps who need help, and assist in increasing sales and headcount
Provide outstanding service with in-depth product knowledge and maintain presentation standards
Build strong partner relationships through integrity, sales, and business expertise
Become the EDM subject matter expert on technology, plans, promotions, sales techniques, systems, activation, credit, and escalation processes
Document and quantify opportunities, share best practices with peers, and communicate challenges and recommendations internally
Submit detailed reports online within 24 hours of field activities via the company’s web-based reporting system
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly goals as presented by management
Requirements
Previous experience in sales and leadership within outside sales channels, including previous experience as an Account Sales Manager in a fast-paced quota-driven environment
Previous roles such as Direct Manager, Manager, Sales Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, Business Development Manager, Branch Manager, Manager Trainee, Assistant General Manager, Outside Sales Manager
Comfortable with 1:1 and classroom-style training
Operational experience
Sales experience
Experience motivating teams and sales reps
Developing sales skills via action plans
Motivating and driving others
Evaluating teams and analyzing data to identify opportunities and build improvement plans
Exceptional leadership skills with a passion and dedication for mentoring and coaching sales partners
Strong communication skills, strong work ethic, high energy, enthusiasm, and passion for technology
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, unstructured work environment
Effective communication, analytical, and presentation skills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience working with and meeting quotas
Operational understanding of basic retail business and practices a plus
Working knowledge of the wireless industry and technology is a plus
