Drive sales results of the client's products in the assigned territory as the Account Sales Manager for DSI's Exclusive Distribution Model (EDM)
Serve as the link between training and sales; deliver formal classroom training, side-by-side selling, informal group training, and generate excitement for selling
Work closely with partners, representatives, owners, and senior management to increase sales
Evaluate opportunities and challenges and provide creative solutions and suggestions to improve sales
Create and implement motivational contests, goals, challenges, and incentives to improve sales and respond to low performance
Provide analysis of visits and sales, give presentations on methods to increase sales, and document opportunities
Visit offices regularly, support reps who need help, and assist in increasing sales and headcount
Maintain partner and client presentation standards, deliver exceptional client service, and follow up with stakeholders
Become the EDM business subject matter expert on technology, plans, promotions, sales techniques, best practices, systems, activation, credit, and escalation processes
Document and submit detailed reports online within 24 hours of field activities via the company's web-based reporting system
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly goals as presented by management
Work in the field 4-5 days per week (including weekends) and travel approximately 3 weeks per month; work from home office 1 week per month
Requirements
Previous experience in sales and leadership within outside sales channels with previous experience as an Account Sales Manager in a fast-paced quota-driven environment
Previous roles: Direct Manager, Manager, Sales Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, Business Development Manager, Branch Manager, Manager Trainee, Assistant General Manager, Outside Sales Manager
Comfortable with 1:1 and classroom-style training
Experience in operational and sales training
Developing sales skills via action plans and motivating teams/reps
Motivating and driving others; evaluating teams and analyzing data to identify opportunities and build improvement plans
Exceptional leadership skills with passion and dedication for mentoring and coaching sales partners
Strong communication skills, strong work ethic, high energy, enthusiasm, and passion for technology
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, unstructured work environment
Effective communication, analytical, and presentation skills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience working with and meeting quotas
Operational understanding of basic retail business and practices a plus
Working knowledge of the wireless industry and technology a plus
Willingness to travel 50-75% (car and airplane travel)
