About the role

  • Provide strategic leadership for the overall management of the territory, driving sales performance and market share growth
  • Optimize the territory's sales potential by identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities and addressing sales challenges

  • Adapt and execute tailored strategies for a diverse range of dealers to maximize results
  • Develop advanced training programs for independent dealers focused on sales techniques, market trends, and customer retention
  • Implement a robust coaching and development framework to enhance dealer capabilities
  • Drive innovation in training and development processes to improve sales and service experiences
  • Guide direct reports through regular follow-ups, coaching, and mentoring when applicable
  • Provide leadership and direction to the sales team and collaborate with other regional leaders
  • In coordination with the Director – Dealer Accounts, participate in interviews for District Sales Managers or Sales Support Specialists

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
  • 8-10 years of progressive sales experience
  • 3-5 years in business-to-business sales and marketing
  • Proven track record of managing and consistently expanding sales territories
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and make sound business decisions
  • Strong focus on achieving and exceeding established targets and objectives
  • Advanced proficiency in negotiation techniques and strategies
  • Ability to proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with internal functions, field service teams, and financial counterparts
  • Highly advanced verbal communication skills for leading sales meetings, delivering presentations, and negotiating with key stakeholders and major accounts
  • Documented ability to write comprehensive sales proposals, contracts, and business plans
  • Mentorship and coaching experience for junior and mid-level team members
  • Experience collaborating closely with marketing and product teams to develop messaging and materials
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean Department of Motor Vehicle driving record
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75%
