About the role
- Grow sales within the assigned Southeastern region (FL, GA, SC, AL, MS, part of TN)
- Sell filtration products to Food and Beverage manufacturers and resellers
- Direct end-users and recruit/accelerate sales with distributor partners
- Train distributors and end users to maximize potential sales of Donaldson products
- Identify and grow process filtration business with OEMs, engineering firms, and strategic end-users
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to grow revenue and profitability
- Expand customer base through networking, lead follow-up and conversion
- Collaborate with field sales and inside sales teams to cultivate and share leads
- Develop and maintain opportunity funnel within Microsoft CRM
- Travel up to 60% and work remotely within the territory
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR 8+ years of relevant outside sales experience
- 5+ years of outside sales experience
- 3+ years of experience covering a multi-state territory
- Process Filtration experience (preferred)
- Food & Beverage manufacturing/industry experience (preferred)
- Prior experience selling through distributors, resellers and engineering firms (preferred)
- Strong sales aptitude and experienced territory management skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and multitasking skills
- Follow-up and attention to detail
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Must live in and travel within the assigned Southeastern territory
- Willingness to travel up to 60% within the geographic territory
