About the role
- Generate profitable sales growth while maintaining existing business in the Southeast region
- Identify, develop, and capture business opportunities, meeting sales and pipeline development goals
- Develop strong relationships with distributor partners and indirect customers; act as the primary field sales representative
- Utilize a professional sales process to uncover customer needs, handle objections, and determine appropriate solutions
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all sales efforts at assigned distribution channel partners
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate opportunity funnel within CRM (Salesforce)
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key channel partners to review performance
- Leverage understanding of the fluid power industry to claim the value of system-based solutions
- Work remotely from a home office within the FL/GA/SC territory with an estimated 50% travel requirement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or relevant years of industry experience
- 3+ years of experience in Hydraulics and/or Electronics Industry sales, or a similar technical sales industry
- Competence in understanding and discussing the technical and commercial aspects of products/solutions
- Experience effectively working with a CRM System (Salesforce preferred)

- Experience planning, coordinating, and executing sales efforts at distribution channel partners
- Ability to conduct quarterly business reviews with key channel partners
- Based remotely within the territory FL, GA, or SC and able to travel approximately 50%
