About the role
- Lead development and execution of AI-driven Clinical AI products for the Department of Veteran Affairs.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Define and articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Clinical AI tools.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders.
- Serve as scrum master for a small, agile team and provide strategy support for the client.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, and VA staff to ensure feasibility and technical alignment.
- Develop user stories and workflows to guide product development.
- Monitor key product metrics and iterate based on user feedback.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product launches.
- Manage project team members and lead internal team professional growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within the AI or healthcare domain.
- Proven experience managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in the healthcare sector.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and the ability to synthesize large amounts of data.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools such as GitHub.
- Experience supervising one or more team members including creating and delivering annual performance reviews.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to a broad audience.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on detail and organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation.
- Preferred: Experience with machine learning or natural language processing projects.
- Preferred: Familiarity with user-centered design principles and best practices.
