About the role
- Partner with HR and Finance to develop and manage the workforce budget, including salaries, benefits, and headcount forecasting
- Update monthly payroll forecast by division/department, compare forecast vs budget, and drive corrective actions
- Ensure People department initiatives are aligned with the budget (bonus eligibility, offsites, travel, training)
- Analyze workforce costs and provide insights for decision-making (cost per employee, allocation efficiencies)
- Consolidate data from internal, external, and directors’ fees
- Build financial models to assess the impact of HR initiatives (talent acquisition, retention)
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis on workforce-related costs (cost of turnover, internal hiring vs headhunter expenses)
- Collaborate on organizational changes (restructurings, M&A, automation) and assess impact on workforce costs
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR leaders on budget management, financial risks, and opportunities
- Lead People budget reviews and support HR business cases with financial analysis (dismissal costs, merit increases)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial business partnering, or similar roles
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience partnering with HR or People teams is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
