About the role
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization’s mission, values, and long-term goals
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management
- Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Lead HR team members and foster their professional growth
- Optimize HR systems, processes, and data analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
- Manage compensation structures and benefit programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance
- Conduct market analyses and recommend adjustments as needed
- Oversee performance management processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee investigations and resolution of employee relations issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles required
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage complex projects
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to resolve conflict through persuasive and effective communication and consensus building
- Able to work collaboratively within large and small groups, as well as one on one to achieve desired results
- HR certification required (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
