About the role
- Own all aspects of people operations, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, compliance reporting, and employee file management
- Lead open enrollment, benefits strategy, and ongoing total rewards programs (health, retirement, compensation structure, etc.)
- Manage compliance with ADA, EEO, FMLA, unemployment, workers’ comp, and other labor-related claims
- Oversee the performance management process, including evaluations, feedback, and coaching support
- Partner with leaders to resolve employee relations issues, facilitate conflict resolution, and mitigate organizational risk
- Maintain and improve company policies, SOPs, and HR infrastructure to support growth and scalability
- Provide reporting, analysis, and insights on key people metrics to inform decision-making
- Drive process optimization and build scalable systems across the people operations function
- Support compensation reviews and market analysis to ensure competitive pay practices
- Provide oversight of HR systems and technology stack, ensuring integrations and tools are optimized
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, fostering organizational trust and high performance
- Ensure readiness for audits and provide security/compliance support where needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience in a high-growth environment
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent years of relevant experience)
- Proven expertise with HR systems and technology, including administration and optimization (HRIS, benefits, performance tools, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with experience preparing reports and using data to guide decision-making
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- A leadership mindset with the ability to influence and partner across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to engage effectively in executive-level conversations, building credibility as a trusted business partner
- Experience with contractor and vendor management

- Prior experience leading or supporting HRIS migrations and system implementations
- Familiarity with payroll processes and reporting
