About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the product roadmap and priorities, ensuring they support business goals and deliver tangible value.
  • Translate business needs and strategy into clear product requirements and actionable roadmaps.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing short-term business demands with long-term product development.
  • Work closely with technology, operations, risk, compliance, and commercial teams to align priorities and drive delivery.
  • Analyze complex processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.
  • Make trade-off decisions based on business value, risk, cost, and technical constraints.
  • Challenge assumptions and existing business processes when better solutions exist.
  • Use data, customer insights, and business results to guide product decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Lead, Business Product Owner, or similar role.
  • Experience working in banking, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial calculation.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through product development.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives, competing priorities, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish).
