About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the product roadmap and priorities, ensuring they support business goals and deliver tangible value.
Translate business needs and strategy into clear product requirements and actionable roadmaps.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing short-term business demands with long-term product development.
Work closely with technology, operations, risk, compliance, and commercial teams to align priorities and drive delivery.
Analyze complex processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.
Make trade-off decisions based on business value, risk, cost, and technical constraints.
Challenge assumptions and existing business processes when better solutions exist.
Use data, customer insights, and business results to guide product decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Lead, Business Product Owner, or similar role.
Experience working in banking, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry.
Strong understanding of financial calculation.
Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through product development.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
Experience managing multiple initiatives, competing priorities, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English and proficient in at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish).
