About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and develop the roadmap for the personal safety product portfolio
- Translate customer needs, market insight and technical opportunities into clear priorities
- Manage the portfolio end to end, including new offerings, market introductions, lifecycle, quality and profitability
- Grow personal alarm, alarm handling and communication offerings
- Identify opportunities for new products, services and markets
- Own user experience across apps, alarm handling interfaces and customer workflows
- Work with UX, R&D and real users to create fast, clear and reliable solutions
- Collaborate with R&D from concept and requirements through testing, launch and continuous improvement
- Write clear product requirements that can be estimated and delivered
- Lead market introductions with Sales, Marketing, Operations and country teams
- Manage positioning, packaging, pricing, sales enablement and launch materials
- Support expansion in the UK and Germany, including regulatory and compliance requirements such as Martyn's Law
- Track revenue, margin, adoption and other product performance indicators
- Support priorities and business cases involving recurring revenue, hardware margin and total cost of ownership
- Drive digital initiatives including customer-facing tools and installation, commissioning and support solutions
- Represent AddSecure at trade fairs and industry events
- Report to the Product Director for Safety Solutions and collaborate with Product Managers and international teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in product management, product ownership or a similar role within B2B technology
- Experience working with technically complex products or services, ideally within personal safety, alarms, security, connected hardware or other safety-critical environments
- Strong understanding of user experience and experience working with design and R&D
- Experience with subscription- or platform-based services and connected hardware
- Experience taking hardware, software or connected services from development to market and managing them afterwards
- Strong product and commercial judgement
- Ability to work effectively across R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations and international teams
- Technical fluency with connected hardware, software and cloud services
- Willingness to test and understand products hands-on
- Experience engaging directly with customers and partners and translating needs into product priorities and requirements
- Relevant academic background or equivalent professional experience
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Must be eligible to work in Sweden
- Professional Swedish or another Nordic language is valuable
- Experience from IoT connectivity, SaaS or telecom is valuable
- Familiarity with European alarm or personal safety standards such as EN 50136, BS 8484 or DGUV requirements is valuable
- Experience working across several European markets, including the UK or Germany, is valuable
