About the role

  • Serve as the in-store expert for the apparel business/department and execute brand standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and provide direction to teammates; lead by example.
  • Support hiring by observing in-store interviews and department tours and assist building a strong team.
  • Plan, organize, and control 30-days out workforce and daily assignments with guidance from Assistant Store Manager.
  • Delegate tasks, ensure programs/processes are executed, and uphold merchandising and presentation standards (floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment).
  • Assist store leadership with general supervision and training, onboarding, and cross-training teammates.
  • Coach and develop teammates; provide hands-on coaching and explain the rationale behind tasks and processes.
  • Create an inclusive, safe store environment and support company vision and store goals.
  • Adhere to safety and loss prevention policies and perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
  • Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
  • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Company information.
