Develop, edit, and manage technical documents, from engineering manuals to regulatory reports, covering propulsion, avionics, flight operations, and compliance.
Create and maintain a structured repository/knowledge base of documentation for internal and external use.
Collaborate with aerospace engineers, flight test teams, pilots, and compliance specialists to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Translate technical jargon into user-friendly content while maintaining precision and regulatory compliance.
Implement documentation best practices, templates, and frameworks to standardize and streamline communication across teams.
Requirements
Experience in technical writing, preferably in aerospace, UAVs, or engineering.
Ability to grasp highly technical concepts and translate them into structured, easy-to-understand documentation.
Strong proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, LaTeX, DITA, or similar).
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents simultaneously.
Fluency in English.
Background in engineering, aerospace, or physics (nice-to-have).
Experience working with regulatory and compliance documentation (ITAR, EASA, SORA, etc.) (nice-to-have).
Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML for structured documentation (nice-to-have).
