• **What You´ll Do**
• - Lead the structural sizing and stress analysis of rocket motor pressure structures, including metallic and composite motor cases and pressure-loaded components.
• - Perform analytical and numerical stress analyses (linear, nonlinear, buckling, fatigue, fracture, and damage tolerance) for high-pressure, high-temperature environments.
• - Define and manage load cases and environments relevant to rocket motor operation, including internal pressure, thermal gradients, mechanical loads, ignition transients, and dynamic effects.
• - Develop and apply analysis methodologies for composite motor structures, including laminate theory, failure criteria, and appropriate knockdown factors.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Process incoming and outgoing invoices and record the associated bank transactions.

• Shape the core sensor: Use simulation software to model and optimise the exact 3D geometries of our micro-scale vibrating sensor structures.
• Stop energy leaks: Run detailed multi-physics simulations to map out how mechanical energy moves through the structure. Your main goal is to maximise energy storage and eliminate structural, acoustic, and thermal energy losses.
• Design the control interface: Calculate the precise spacing, sizing, and layout of the electrostatic gaps and drive pads that our electronics team will use to interact with your physical sensor.
• Deliver the blueprints: Translate your optimised mathematical models into clean engineering layout files so our team can build them in the cleanroom.

Experimental Physicist

• Source and qualify high purity crystal substrates for precision sensor manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize chemical cleaning, polishing, and surface preparation processes to achieve exceptional surface quality.
• Design and execute vacuum packaging processes, including wafer bonding and integration of micro scale getters to ensure long term vacuum stability.
• Perform precision post processing and micro tuning by removing microscopic amounts of material to correct geometric and mass imbalances.
• Coordinate cleanroom activities, including scheduling and overseeing deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) processes with internal and external facilities.
