• **What You´ll Do**
• - Create engineering design, prototypes, and manufacturing plans for products under design and development.
• - Generate 3D CAD models, drawings, schematics, bills of material, and other related documentation required for manufacturing, integration and testing.
• - Deliver technical documentation including any engineering calculations, analysis and assumptions required to substantiate your design decisions and solutions.
• - Manage suppliers and manufacturers by addressing any technical questions and resolving any issues which may arise during the manufacturing process.

• - Design and develop solid rocket motor hardware, including motor casings (pressure vessels), nozzles, thermal protection/insulation systems, grain support structures, and integration features.
• - Create high-quality 3D CAD models, detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly models, bills of materials, and technical documentation following aerospace drafting standards.
• - Perform and document engineering analyses (pressure containment, thermal loads, structural margins, tolerances, material selection) to justify design decisions.
• - Define manufacturing and prototyping plans for motor components and subassemblies, ensuring manufacturability and alignment with DFM best practices.
• - Work with suppliers and manufacturers to address technical questions, resolve fabrication issues, and ensure hardware quality during production.

Propulsion Design Engineer – Solid Rocket Motors

Systems Engineer

• **What You´ll Do**
• - Design and size ablative thermal protection systems for rocket motors, propulsion components, and high-temperature structural assemblies
• - Perform transient thermal analyses including ablation, pyrolysis, char layer evolution, and bondline temperature prediction
• - Develop coupled thermo-mechanical FEM models to evaluate insulation integrity, thermal stresses, and structural–thermal interactions
• - Select and characterize ablative materials such as EPDM-based insulators, carbon–phenolics, and high-temperature composites
• - Validate analysis models against test data including recession measurements, thermocouple profiles, and subscale firing results
• - Define, support, and participate in TPS-related test campaigns, including material testing, flame exposure, and propulsion firings
• - Translate thermal and mechanical analysis results into actionable design requirements, TPS layouts, and manufacturable solutions

Thermal Protection Systems Engineer

• **What You´ll Do**
• - Perform design, analysis, and development of rocket motor and pyrotechnic articles.
• - Perform in depth data and performance analysis with focus on iterative design and improvement.
• - Support the design for qualification and certification of rocket motors in accordance with MIL-STD and STANAG standards.
• - Interpret certification requirements and translate them into engineering and test specifications.
• - Prepare technical reports, qualification matrices, and compliance documentation in line with military and aerospace standards.
