About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, edit, and manage technical documents, from engineering manuals to regulatory reports.
- Create and maintain a structured repository of documentation for internal and external use.
- Work alongside aerospace engineers, flight test teams, and compliance specialists to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Translate technical jargon into user-friendly content while maintaining precision and compliance.
- Implement documentation best practices, templates, and frameworks to streamline communication across teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in technical writing, preferably in aerospace, UAVs, or engineering.
- Ability to grasp highly technical concepts and translate them into structured, easy-to-understand documentation.
- Strong proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, LaTeX, DITA, or similar).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents simultaneously.
- Fluency in English.
- Nice-to-Have: Background in aerospace engineering.
- Nice-to-Have: Experience working with regulatory and compliance documentation (ITAR, EASA, SORA, etc.).
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML for structured documentation.
