About the role

  • Lead the Market Research product portfolio with P&L accountability as part of the Strategic Product Leadership team
  • Partner with externally sourced teams to complete quantitative and qualitative market research projects
  • Ensure executional excellence with existing qualitative and quantitative products
  • Design, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research studies to inform product positioning, client needs, and market opportunities
  • Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behaviors to provide forward-looking insights
  • Apply advanced analytics and statistical techniques to extract actionable business implications
  • Collaborate with Sales, Data and Transformation teams and other stakeholders to fuel product adoption
  • Collaborate with external teams to develop and deploy new qualitative and quantitative products
  • Develop and present insight work to client companies
  • Ensure data enrichment is an integral part of go-to-market plans for existing and new products
  • Oversee external research partners and vendors, maintaining excellence, efficiency, and value
  • Play a critical role in shaping a new growth strategy transforming business trajectory over the strategic plan horizon

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership essentials
  • Bachelors degree, advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in market research and analytics
  • Prior experience in healthcare/pharma/agency market research
  • Prior experience in a growing startup or similar environment is a plus
  • Travel estimated less than 20%
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and survey development tools (eg, Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, other proprietary data sources)
  • Experience with data visualization tools and analytics tools (eg Tableau, SPSS, R, Python, Power BI) is a plus
  • Understanding Pharmaceutical Prescription data (e.g., IQVIA) is a plus
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with executive presence
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect insights into strong business outcomes
  • Experience with strategic problem-solving with healthcare companies
