About the role
- Integral part of the UK, Ireland & Middle East Projects practice supporting BD and marketing activity
- Support marketing and business development activity across the newly formed Projects practice group
- Focus on campaigns, events, sponsorship management, thought leadership, client relationship management, client targeting and directory submissions
- Support the production of proposals (content creation, editing, team coordination, branding, and pricing compliance)
- Collaborate with the Senior BD Manager to develop high-quality proposal materials and ensure consistent messaging
- Act as a proposal process ambassador and ensure proposals are logged and outcomes tracked
- Conduct research on organisations, sectors, and individuals
- Assist in planning and executing client events (in-person and virtual), draft invitations, manage logistics, and create targeted mailing lists
- Leverage sponsorships for client engagement and manage post-event follow-ups, including ROI tracking
- Support the development and delivery of marketing campaigns and draft and design marketing content
- Work with the Digital Marketing team for online rollout, ensuring brand compliance and tracking ROI
- Prepare award entries, legal directory submissions, and explore profile-raising opportunities
- Maintain and update website and social media content with the Communications team and ensure brand compliance
Requirements
- Significant relevant marketing and organisational experience
- Experience of working in a legal and/or professional services environment
- Understands when to act and when to ask
- Builds trust amongst fee earning teams and wider stakeholder community
- Understands the need and has the ability to manage expectations
- Good attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to take on additional responsibility and deputise for their line manager when required
- Sound working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Graduate calibre with demonstrable and/or professionally recognised marketing or communications qualification (such as CIM, etc)
