💰 $70,000 - $75,000 per year
About the role
- Support the National Finance Director and Finance team in executing day-to-day fundraising activities
- Assist with the preparation for and on-site management of DGA policy conferences and events
- Maintain and update internal event and budget trackers
- Manage scheduling for the National Finance Director and the finance department
- Prepare detailed briefings and materials for finance events and donor meetings
- Manage and update account wiring and contribution information
- Ensure timely communication and information flow between the Finance team, Executive team, and other departments
- Assist with other assignments and tasks as requested by members of the finance team.
Requirements
- At least one election cycle of work experience preferred, ideally campaign or committee finance ops experience
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work long hours and travel frequently, including occasional weekends
- A strong capacity to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with NGP is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated interest in politics and a strong commitment to advancing the principles and goals of the nation’s Democratic governors.
