About the role

  • Manage a portfolio of Deliveroo’s largest and most strategic grocery relationships
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with grocery partners to create long-term mutual growth
  • Manage a small team of Account Managers supporting day-to-day operations and opportunity identification
  • Lead team to pitch, negotiate, and onboard new grocery partners onto the platform
  • Define and execute joint business plans ensuring Deliveroo is the partner of choice
  • Deliver Deliveroo’s annual objectives for partner portfolio by tracking implementation, controlling expenditure, and identifying interventions
  • Work cross-functionally to maximise account potential
  • Own the contract negotiation and renewal process to agree terms that unlock mutual value
  • Create an inclusive, multi-functional team culture driving engagement and performance
  • Support business leaders in setting longer-term commercial strategy and partner value proposition for grocery segments

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading an account management, business development/new business, or commercial team
  • Experience in the Grocery industry is required
  • Must demonstrate a successful track record of revenue growth in account-facing roles, including new business development
  • Ability to define and implement a B2B partner-focused plan, developing creative solutions to complex problems
  • Strong/structured communication skills, with a clear aptitude for listening and responding to customer needs
  • Experience in managing a complex partner or portfolio of partners, including high-value commercial negotiations
  • A team player who can get the best from a multi-functional team, with a win-win/can-do attitude
  • Drive, ambition, enthusiasm, commercial skills, excellence in selling, negotiation, and account management
