About the role
- Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities
- Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, networking, and targeted campaigns
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CISOs, IT Directors, and other key stakeholders
- Develop account plans and execute growth strategies for existing customers
- Facilitate compelling product presentations and solution demos
- Assist in cultivating and managing channel partner relationships within your territory
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in CRM tools
- Represent DeepSeas at industry events, trade shows, and virtual forums
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual new business bookings targets
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a new business / hunter sales role (cybersecurity, SaaS, or tech services preferred)
- Demonstrated success in high-velocity or enterprise/mid-market sales environments
- Outstanding communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Experience in solution selling and value-based sales approaches
- Comfortable operating independently and managing a self-driven book of business
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Energetic, disciplined, and laser-focused on results
- Bonus Qualifications
- Background in cybersecurity, MDR, MSSP, or threat intelligence
- Knowledge of sales methodologies like MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger
- Existing book of business or industry network in relevant sectors
