About the role

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities
  • Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, networking, and targeted campaigns
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CISOs, IT Directors, and other key stakeholders
  • Develop account plans and execute growth strategies for existing customers
  • Facilitate compelling product presentations and solution demos
  • Assist in cultivating and managing channel partner relationships within your territory
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in CRM tools
  • Represent DeepSeas at industry events, trade shows, and virtual forums
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual new business bookings targets

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a new business / hunter sales role (cybersecurity, SaaS, or tech services preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in high-velocity or enterprise/mid-market sales environments
  • Outstanding communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in solution selling and value-based sales approaches
  • Comfortable operating independently and managing a self-driven book of business
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Energetic, disciplined, and laser-focused on results
  • Bonus Qualifications
  • Background in cybersecurity, MDR, MSSP, or threat intelligence
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies like MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger
  • Existing book of business or industry network in relevant sectors
