About the role

  • Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop features and APIs
  • Continuously improve products and fix bugs
  • Ensure customers receive a white-glove experience
  • Create tooling, maintain internal libraries, and provide architectural guidance
  • Own some high-loaded core services and respond to production incidents
  • Enforce standards and best practices
  • Support Deel engineering growth by building platform for product teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering
  • Strong node.js knowledge
  • AWS or similar cloud experience
  • Kubernetes, Helm and Docker knowledge
  • Experience with Postgres/Mysql, RabbitMq/Nats/Kafka
  • Strong system design and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hands-on troubleshooter
  • Ready for challenges
  • Experience building internal tooling: npm packages, frameworks (preferred)
