About the role

Be a part of a truly cross-functional team
Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment
Collaborate to develop robust new features, APIs, continuously improve products and fix bugs
Ensure customers receive a white-glove experience with our products
Support Deel engineering growth and build a platform for product teams
Enforce standards and best practices, create tooling, and maintain internal libraries
Provide architectural guidance, own high-loaded core services, and respond to production incidents
Operate at the edge between DevOps and engineering (approx. 70% Engineering, 30% DevOps)

7+ years of experience in engineering
Strong node.js knowledge
AWS or similar cloud experience
Kubernetes, Helm and Docker knowledge
Experience with Postgres/Mysql and RabbitMq/Nats/Kafka
Strong system design and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills; able to orchestrate projects with 20+ teams
Hands-on troubleshooter
Ready for challenges
Experience building internal tooling (npm packages, frameworks) (extra brownie points)
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
