About the role

  • Be a part of a truly cross-functional team and collaborate with product and engineering
  • Participate in product planning from discovery all the way to deployment and across the SDLC
  • Collaborate to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve products
  • Ensure customers receive a white-glove experience with Deel products
  • Build platform tooling, maintain internal libraries, enforce standards and best practices
  • Provide architectural guidance and own some high-loaded core services
  • Respond to production incidents and act as a hands-on troubleshooter
  • Orchestrate projects across many teams to enable product teams to ship business value faster

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in engineering
  • Strong node.js knowledge
  • AWS or similar cloud experience
  • Kubernetes, Helm and Docker knowledge
  • Experience with Postgres/Mysql
  • Experience with RabbitMq/Nats/Kafka
  • Strong system design and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills; ability to orchestrate projects with 20+ teams
  • Hands-on troubleshooter
  • Ready for challenges
  • Experience building internal tooling (npm packages, frameworks) — bonus
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
