About the role

  • Be a part of a truly cross-functional team
  • Participate in product planning from discovery all the way to deployment
  • Collaborate to develop robust new features and APIs, continuously improve products and find and fix bugs
  • Ensure customers receive a white-glove experience with products
  • Support engineering growth and build a platform for product teams to ship business value faster
  • Work on the edge between DevOps and engineering: enforce standards and best practices
  • Create tooling, maintain internal libraries, and provide architectural guidance
  • Own some high-loaded core services and respond to production incidents when needed
  • 70% Engineering and 30% DevOps responsibilities

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in engineering
  • Strong node.js knowledge
  • AWS or similar cloud experience
  • Kubernetes, Helm and Docker knowledge
  • Experience with Postgres/Mysql, RabbitMq/Nats/Kafka
  • Strong system design and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, ability to orchestrate projects with 20+ teams
  • You are hands-on troubleshooter
  • You are ready for challenges
  • Extra brownie points if you have experience building internal tooling: npm packages, frameworks
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently (applicant confirmation requested)
