About the role

  • Be a part of a truly cross-functional team
  • Participate in product planning from discovery all the way to deployment
  • Collaborate to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve products
  • Ensure our customers receive a white-glove experience with our products
  • Support Deel engineering growth and build a platform for product teams to ship business value faster
  • Enforce standards and best practices, create tooling, and maintain internal libraries
  • Provide architectural guidance and own some high-loaded core services
  • Respond to production incidents when needed (70% Engineering and 30% DevOps)

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in engineering
  • Strong node.js knowledge
  • AWS or similar cloud experience
  • Kubernetes, Helm and Docker knowledge
  • Experience with Postgres/Mysql, RabbitMq/Nats/Kafka
  • Strong system design and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills; experience orchestrating projects with 20+ teams
  • Hands-on troubleshooter; readiness for challenges
  • English fluency (speak, read, and write)
