About the role
- Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define requirements and identify gaps
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
- Configure and implement solutions using available tools and finalise configurations
- Create technical specifications for custom development and collaborate with development teams to validate feasibility
- Conduct functional testing, support UAT, and resolve defects or gaps
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, compliant, and aligned with best practices
- Act as a liaison between business, product, development, and compliance teams and contribute to documentation and playbooks
- Participate in agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in solution design, business analysis, or systems configuration, ideally in payroll, HR, or financial systems
- Strong track record of translating business requirements into technical documentation and system configurations
- Experience with SaaS platforms, configuration tools, and enterprise system design
- Background in agile environments, collaborating with product and development teams
- Analytical thinking
- Technical acumen – comfortable with system configuration and technical documentation
- Stakeholder management – strong communicator with technical and business audiences
- Problem-solving and proactive identification of challenges
- Attention to detail in documentation, validation, and ensuring requirements are met
