About the role
- Deeply engaged, client-facing role involved in operational execution and technical solutioning
- Frequent interaction with clients to understand business needs and co-develop actionable product strategies
- Manage internal initiatives, cross-functional projects, and corporate directives
- Drive alignment across teams and ensure timely execution and operational effectiveness
- Develop and execute product strategy, messaging, and product/solution launches aligned with company goals
- Evaluate market opportunities, anticipate industry trends, and assess feasibility and impact of new products/releases
- Collaborate closely with technical architecture, software development, and client delivery to meet financial, timing, and quality expectations
- Lead with influence to solve complex business and technical challenges in a high-pressure, dynamic environment
- Participate in strategic planning and execution of cross-organizational initiatives to support business growth
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of operational workflows across hedge funds and private equity funds and servicers (trade capture, reconciliation, valuation, performance measurement, accounting, investor reporting)
- In-depth understanding of technology underpinning fund accounting and operations workflows; experience designing and optimizing system architectures
- Experience with a broad spectrum of instrument types including derivatives, structured products, private placements, and illiquid assets
- Advanced user expertise in Advent Geneva or equivalent portfolio accounting systems
- Direct experience leading system implementations or upgrades (requirements gathering, solution design, vendor engagement, UAT)
- Strong track record running and enhancing daily operational processes across front-to-back workflows
- Hands-on expertise building/refining automated workflows and data pipelines integrating trading, risk, and accounting platforms
- Proven success identifying operational pain points and applying technology and process solutions to improve efficiency and reduce risk
- Ability to translate operational needs into system enhancements and product features; collaborate with technology and development teams
- Demonstrated success in senior product management, solution strategy, or client-facing leadership roles
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 8+ years, or equivalent combination of education and experience
