About the role
- Build and manage relationships with venture partners to generate high-quality referrals and revenue opportunities
- Partner with leadership to shape growth and scale the venture partner ecosystem
- Guide clients through strategic decisions, including product configurations, compliance needs, and workflow improvements
- Consistently meet or exceed quota, driving SQOs through broker-sourced opportunities
- Become a Deel product expert and deliver clear, tailored demos that educate partners
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape and position Deel effectively in every deal
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales development, and solutions teams to influence product development
- Meet with partners in person at least once or twice a month to deepen relationships
- Build lasting relationships through in-person engagements such as partner dinners, lunches, sporting events, and other networking opportunities
- Be an activation expert to transition new partners from signed to engaged and revenue-generating
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in any form of partnership role
- Strong understanding of the venture capital landscape and well-connected in VC
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Strong research skills
- Ability to write email copy and sequence campaigns that activate partners
- Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
- Active relationship builder with ability to collaborate with internal and external teams
- (Preferred) Experience at an HR or FinTech company
- (Preferred) Experience at a fast-growing startup
- (Preferred) Experience working in a remote & distributed team
