About the role
- Build and manage relationships with venture partners to generate high-quality referrals and revenue opportunities
- Guide clients through strategic decisions, including product configurations, compliance needs, and workflow improvements
- Consistently meet or exceed quota, driving SQOs through broker-sourced opportunities
- Become a Deel product expert and deliver clear, tailored demos that educate partners
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape and position Deel effectively in every deal
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales development, and solutions teams to influence product development
- Meet with partners in person at least once or twice a month to deepen relationships and strengthen long-term partnerships
- Be an activation expert to quickly transition a new partner from signed to engaged and revenue-generating
- Partner with leadership to shape how the venture partner ecosystem grows and scales
- Build lasting relationships through in-person engagements such as partner dinners, lunches, sporting events, and other networking opportunities
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in any form of partnership role
- Strong understanding of the venture capital landscape and well-connected
- Proficient in spoken and written English and strong research skills
- Ability to write email copy and sequence campaigns that activate partners
- Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
- Active relationship builder who can consistently collaborate with internal and external teams to improve processes and communication workflows
- Experience working for an HR or FinTech company (preferred)
- Experience at a fast-growing startup (preferred)
- Experience working in a remote & distributed team (preferred)
- Authorization to work in your country of residence (application form requires)
