About the role
- Advise finance professionals from middle management through the C-suite, customizing their Datarails platform and training them on product updates
- Understand current client situations, helping simplify models and existing data
- Create detailed business analysis outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for customers (budgeting and forecasting, planning and monitoring, financial modeling, standard reporting and more)
- Manage, interpret, and validate all data produced by the customer, focusing on improving quality of customer care
- Provide recommendations for process changes to optimize procedures and maximize outcomes
- Build long term strategic relationships with customers, gather requirements, and follow through with necessary financial reporting support
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in customer success, consulting, or similar customer-facing role, and a finance or accounting background
- Deep knowledge and solid experience in advanced Excel functions (formulas, Vlookup, Pivot Table, Power Query and complex models)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills - ability to engage with CFOs, VPs and Directors of Finance and other senior customers
- Comfortable with upselling and renewal conversations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must be located in the United States or Canada (100% remote based in US or Canada)
