Engage in deep discussions with CFOs and finance teams to understand their FP&A business requirements and internal processes and customize their Datarails experience.
Conduct captivating product demos with finance teams, understand their pain points, and identify complementary solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) that showcase the capabilities and value of Datarails.
Partner closely with the sales team, evaluating and assisting in sales strategies and providing solution recommendations.
Leverage in-depth understanding of competitive products and technologies to position Datarails effectively in sales presentations.
Assist in the development of proposals and responses to RFI and RFP documents.
Requirements
5-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, FP&A, or relevant sales engineering roles.
Strong grasp of financial applications, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation platforms.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Ability to gather and understand potential customers' requirements using a consultative approach.
Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and clearly.
Strong business acumen, collaborative skill set, and a team-oriented everyone-wins attitude.
Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across multiple industries such as manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc., a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance, a plus.
100% remote, full-time (~40 hours/week) position open to candidates in the UK and Germany.
Work schedule will require some overlap with US Eastern time.
